Welcome to Siemens Center of Knowledge Interchange (CKI) at TU Berlin

The Center of Knowledge Interchange is the strategic alliance between the Siemens AG and the TU Berlin and serves as a direct interface between university researchers, students and researches from Siemens.
The challenges our society is facing nowadays, are not able to manage from the knowledge of individual academic disciplines. Excellent research to generate sustainable solutions is only able to achieve in interdisciplinary research alliances, in networking with external research institutions and interlocking with social practice. Therefore the CKI was founded with the aim to build a bridge between TU and Siemens and create partnerships which provide high added value. Having access to a broad network, both at TU Berlin and Siemens, the CKI office facilitates cooperation between the strategic partners in all forms from research projects to cooperation in teaching.

We are the key contact for Siemens employees, who are looking for highly qualified research partners or who would like to get in touch with students from TU Berlin.
If you are a member of the TU, we offer great possibilities to present your competencies to Siemens.
Additionally we support project planning and launching, joint conferences and workshops, factory tours and many more to support reciprocal transparency.
If you are interested in a cooperation in either way, please contact us.

The CKI activities are coordinated by a CKI-Manager, who serves as a direct contact person for Siemens employees and members of the university. He is responsible for initiation and support of joint activities and their development. Besides the manager, there is the CKI-Director, a university professor, who supervises the interdisciplinary cooperation of joint activities.
