Do you want to take on the role of a teacher? And in business studies you are fit anyway? Then come to our chair!

For our subject "Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Management - Einführung für Nichtwirtschaftswissenschaftler*innen" we are looking for committed students who would like to expand and pass on their knowledge. And because we are constantly developing our teaching and subjects, you can incorporate and implement your own ideas.

  • Since this is a German language course, very good German language skills are required
  • Very good basic knowledge of business administration (marketing, controlling, financing, organization, etc.)
  • Very good office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Didactic skills; knowledge of business plans and business models desirable

Information about teaching at the department due to the coronavirus

Dear students,

we are sure you are currently following the news regarding the spread of the coronavirus in Germany and have also taken note of the newsletters from our President of the TU as well as the immediate measures of the crisis management team that was set up especially for this purpose.

In close communication with the TU's crisis management team, we are interested in providing you with a teaching that is as unrestricted as possible in the current situation, but nevertheless safe.

All current information from our department can be viewed centrally here on the website. Therefore, please inform yourself regularly about possible changes!

Unfortunately, we have to make all compromises at the moment to counteract the spread of the virus. Therefore, your cooperation is also important. Please read the following announcements carefully!

We are confident that together and with mutual consideration we will master the current exceptional situation well and survive it in good health.

Secretariat not occupied

Our secretariat is not occupied until further notice. For the protection of our employees, we kindly ask you not to visit our secretariat or offices independently and without an appointment.

Furthermore, we ask you to refrain from general enquiries by e-mail. We will inform you of all relevant changes in a timely manner. Please read the following information carefully.

Registration and extension of deadline for final theses

If you would like to register your thesis, please contact your examination team by e-mail (see quick access: 212655). Please do not send an e-mail to the department in this regard.

For all information on possible extensions of deadlines for already registered theses, please refer to the same quick access.

Winter semester 2019/20 – Modules BME und MNC

UPDATE: Second written test BME and MNC cancelled and delayed

Based on a decision by Faculty VII and the protective measures to contain the coronavirus announced today by the Berlin Senate, we regret to inform you that the second written test will not take place as planned and will be postponed.

Your examination registrations will be cancelled by the examination office without you having to contact us or the Examination Office. Please refer to the information provided by the crisis management team and the Examination Office under direct access 212770 and 212655.

A later date will be offered to you after regular university operations have resumed. We have to wait for the corresponding information from the university management and can only then plan and arrange the examination date. We will inform you as soon as we know more details. Please refrain from further inquiries until then.

UPDATE: Post-exam review for the first test cancelled

All students who have registered for review will be offered a new review date as soon as the regular university operations have resumed.

You will be informed of the new dates in time. The new inspection dates will be set in such a way that they will take place with sufficient time before the rewriting dates of the written tests and will not cause you any disadvantages. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer individual review dates at the moment and would ask you to refrain from asking for them.

Transmission of module grades to the examination office

Your grades were forwarded to the Examination Office even without prior review. We follow the recommendations published by the Examinations Office (quick access: 212655) so that you can continue or complete your studies as usual or show your progress.

Due to staff shortages, home-office activities and increased inquiries, there may be delays in the transmission of your application until the final entry in QISPOS or in your matriculation.

We kindly ask you to refrain from enquiries to this effect, both from us and from the Examinations Office. Unfortunately, the process cannot be further accelerated.

As soon as the regular university operations have resumed, you will be given the opportunity to view your test (see above). Possible changes in grades will then be communicated accordingly. This means that you will not be disadvantaged by the early transfer of grades (see quick access: 212655).

Certificates of our chair

Due to the current situation, please understand that our department is currently unable to issue written certificates with stamp and signature. Our secretariat will not be occupied in the next few weeks. For the protection of our employees, we would ask you not to visit our secretariat on your own and to refrain from making enquiries by e-mail.

You will be informed as soon as normal operations have resumed and you can collect your certificate from us or apply for it.

ERASMUS certificates to the "International Office"

Certificates for the "International Office" applied for so far have been prepared by us and sent to the respective students as PDF files.

Further printed certificates for the "International Office" cannot be issued at present. We are in contact with the office and are trying to find a digital solution.

Please refrain from requests or requests for certificates until you receive further information from us.
