Student Research Paper, Bachelor-, Master-, and Diploma Thesis
After successful participation of at least one module of the subject area, students have the possibility of compiling a scientific paper, like Bachelor-, Master-, Student Research- or Diploma thesis at the department of ‘Strategic Leadership and Global Management’. Besides theoretical alignment, our chair also offers practical oriented theses. Here it is possible to work on topics that are advertised from the chair as well as supervision for student proposals. In the ideal case the scientific works are content wise related to the research projects of the professor or the employees of the chair. We recommend students who are planning to compose a scientific work at our chair, to take part in one of our research-oriented modules. For further questions please ask our research associates. We regularly offer an info lecture about academic working for students that want to write their Bachelor thesis. Further information will be published soon. Academic works shall show - on different aspiration levels, depending on whether it is a Bachelor-, Master-, Research- or Diploma thesis – that the student is capable to independently process a topic on the basis of the given formal and methodological requirements. The professor and the employees of the chair supervise and assist the theses. In the past we succeeded repeatedly in deriving joint essay projects from the students scientific works. This will be also strived for the future. Detailed guidelines for the composition of seminar- and student research projects with information on formal and material requirements as well as working notes are available at the subject area of the chair. Regarding content- and formal-related requirements of all kind of theses we refer to our guideline (German version) Leitfaden zur Anfertigung wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten .
